Book of John
In the beginning was the word, and the word was with GOD, and the word was GOD. HE was in the beginning with GOD. All things were made through HIM, and without hIM was not any thing made that was made. in HIM was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John was sent from GOD to bear witness about light. The true light which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. HE was in teh world, and the world was made through HIM, yet the world did not know HIM. He came to His own, and HIs own people did not receive HIM. But to all who did receive HIM, who believed in His name, HE gave the right to become children of GID, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of GOD. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen His glory of the only SON from the FATHER, full of grace and truth. No one has ever seen GOD the only GOD, WHO is at eh FATHER's side, HE has made HIM known. JESUS said, you will see greater things. Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see heaven opened, a nd the angels of GOD ascending and descending on the SON of MAN. JESUS was at the wedding with His disciples. There were six stone water jars for the Jewish rites of purification. JESUS said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water." And HE said to them, "Now draw some out and take it to the master of the feast." When the master tasted the water now become wine, an ddid not know where it came from, the master called the bridegroom and said, "everyone serves the good wine first, and when people have drunk freely, then serve the poor wine. But you have kept the good wine until now.." This, , the first signs JESUS did at Cana in Galilee and manifested His glory. The passover of the Jews, JESUS went up to Jerusalem. In the temple HE found people selling animals, money-exchangers. And making a whip of cords, HE drove them all out of the temple, and HE poured out the coins of money and overturned their tables. And HE told them, "Take these things away do not make My FATHER's house a house of trade." There was a man named Nicodemus, a ruler of he Jews. He came to JESUS by night and said, "Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from GOD, for no one can do these signs that you do unless GOD is with HIM." JESUS answered him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of GOD." Nicodemus said, "How can a man be born when he is old" JESUS answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of GOD. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.' The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit." "Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know, and bear witness to what we have seen, but you do not receive our testimony. If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how can you believe if I tell you heavenly things? No one has ascended into heaven except HE WHO descended from heaven, the SON of MAN. And as as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the SON of MAN be lifted up, that whoever believes in HIM may have eternal life. For GOD do loved the world, that HE have His only SON, that whoever believes in HIM should not perish but have eternal life. For GOD did not send His SON into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through HIM. Whoever believes in hIM is not condemned, but whoever does not believes is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only SON of GOD. And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that His works have been carried out in GOD."There was a discussion between John the Baptist and his follower. Man said to John, "Rabbi, HE WHO was baptized by you is baptizing people. John the Baptist said, "This joy of mine is now complete. HE must increase, but I must decrease." HE WHO comes from above is above all. He who is of the earth belongs to the earth and speaks in an earthly way. HE WHO comes from heaven is above all. HE bears witness to what HE has seen and heard, yet no one receives His testimony. Whoever receives His testimony sets His seal to this, that GOD is true. For HE whom GOD has sent utters the words of GOD, for HE gives the Spirit with out measure. The FATHER loves the SON and has given all things into His hand. Whoever believes in the sON has eternal life whoever does not obey the SON shall not see life, but the wrath of GOD remains on HIM. JESUS was passing through Samaria, a town of Sychar. Jacob's well was there. JESUS wearied as HE was from His journey, was sitting beside the well. It was about the sixth hour. A woman from Samaria came to draw water. JESUS said, "Give ME a drink." The woman said, "How is a Jew ask for a drink from Samaritan woman? (For Jews have no dealings with samaritans.) JESUS said, "If you knew the gift of GOD, and WHO it is that is saying to you, 'Give ME a drink,' you would have asked HIM, and HE would have given you living water. Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become a spiring of water welling up to eternal life. The hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the FATHER. You worship what you do not know we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the FATHER in spirit and truth, for the FATHER is seeking such people to worship HIM. GOD is Spirit, and those who worship HIM must worship in spirit and truth. The woman said, "I know Messiah is coming WHO is called CHRIST. When HE comes, HE will tell us all things. JESUS said to her, "I WHO speak to you AM HE." At that time JESUS's disciples returned from from the town and urged HIM to eat. JESUS said to them, "I have food to eat that you do not know about. My food is to do the will of HIM WHO sent ME and to accomplish His work. Lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest. Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and gathering fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together. For here the saying hold true, One sows and another reaps.' I sent you to reap that for which you did not labor. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor."JESUS came again to Cana in Galilee, where HE made water into wine. And at Capernaum, an official whose son was ill asked JESUS to come and heal his son, for his was near death. JESUS said, "Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe. Go, your son will live." The man believed the Word that JESUS spoke and went on way. As he was going down, his servants met him and told him that his son was recovering. He asked at what hour his son began to recover. They said, "Yesterday at teh seventh hour the fever left him." The father knew that was the hour when JESUS had said to him, "Your son will live." And he himself and his household believed. This was the second sign JESUS did. JESUS went up to Bethesda, Jerusalem. There was a man who had been invalid for thirty-eight years. When JESUS saw him lying there knew that he had already been there a long time, HE said to him "Do you want to be healed?" The sick man answered, "Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am going , another steeps down before me. JESUS said to him, "Get up, take up your bed, and walk." And at once the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked.
Afterward JESUS found him in the temple and said to him, "See, you are well! Sin no more, that nothing worse may happen to you."
