JOHN

​That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we looked upon and have touched with our hands, concerning the Word of life the life was made to manifest, and we have seen it, and testify to it and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the FATHER and was made manifest to us that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you to​o may have fellowship with us and fellowship with the FATHER and with His SON JESUS CHRIST. We are writing these things so that our joy may be complete.
​This is the message we halve heard from HIM and proclaim to you that GOD is light, and in HIM is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with HIM while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as HE is in the light we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of JESUS His SON cleanses us from all sin. If we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, HE is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make HIM a liar, and His Word is not in us. JESUS is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. And by this we know that we have come to know HIM, if we keep His commandments, the love of GOD is perfected. By this we may know the we are in HIM. Whoever says "I know HIM" but does not keep His commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him. Whoever says the is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness.
​Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the FATHER is not I him. For the desires of the eyes and pride of life is not from the FATHER but is from the world. The world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of GOD lives forever.
Whoever denies that JESUS is the CHRIST, and he who denies the FATHER and the SON is the antichrist. If you know that HE is righteous, you may be sure that anyone practices righteousness has been born of HIM. You know that HE appeared in order to take away sins, and in HIM there is no sin. No one who lives in HIM keeps on sinning no one who keeps on sinning has either seen HIM or known HIM.
​Let no one deceive you. those who practice of sin is the devil. The reason the Son of GOD appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.
Love one another. Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and no murderer has eternal life lives in him. CHRIST laid down His life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. Let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. When our heart condemns us, GOD is greater than our heart, and HE knows all things. If our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before GOD.
Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from GOD, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. Every spirit that confesses JESUS CHRIST has come in the flesh is from GOD. No one has ever seen GOD if we love one another, GOD lives in us and His love is perfected in us. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. We love because HE first loved us. If anyone says, 'I love GOD," and hates his brother, he is a liar for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love GOD whom the has not seen. And this commandment we have from HIM: whoever loves GOD must also love his brother. Anyone who believes JESUS is the CHRIST has been born of GOD and obey His commandments. For this is the love of GOD, that we keep His commandments. This is HE Who came by water and blood-JESUS CHRIST not by the water only but by the water and the blood. There are three that testify: the Spirit and the water and the blood. Do not imitate evil but imitate good and keep yourselves from idols.
